Cape Town Beaches
for Every Mood and Activity

Cape Town beaches are magnificent.

Cape Town was voted second in the 'World's Ten Best Beach Cities' by Lonely Planet in January 2011.

Camps Bay Beach

Camps Bay beach

Due to the unique geographical vista of the Cape with the high mountain range that cuts the peninsula in two, the weather and sea conditions can vary significantly.

This brings about sea conditions and temperatures that are never the same. At some beaches you get lovely sheltered spots to get away from the wind that the Cape is known for. Others have the wide open sandy spaces that stretch as far as the eye can see with lovely views of Table Mountain that make you reach for your camera.

Here are some favorites for YOUR special vacation.

Muizenburg

Muizenburg

False Bay or Eastern side

On the Eastern side of the mountain, in False bay the water temperatures are a bit warmer and the sea is calmer. We say the water temperatures are warmer but we know that the sea temperatures in the Cape is rather nippy at the best of times.

These beaches have white sandy shores that stretch for many kilo meters and a more laid back atmosphere remains here. Popular with locals and their families to enjoy sea and sand.
